THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE’S
Olmsted Center for Landscape Preservation
Since 2019, I have had the opportunity to work with the National Park Service’s (NPS) Olmsted Center for Landscape Preservation (OCLP) on the development of Cultural Landscape Reports (CLRs) for national historic landscapes throughout the northeast region.
As both a research assistant with the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry’s Center for Cultural Landscape Preservation (CCLP) and as a summer associate with the American Conservation Experience (ACE), I have developed graphic visualizations, 3D models, and digital workflows, as well as completed extensive traditional archival and digital research as contributions in the development of these CLRs.
Work on two additional Cultural Landscape Reports includes:
(1) archival research and documentation for the Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Chamberlain Houses (Women’s Rights National Historical Park), and
(2) existing conditions and period plan mapping, feature inventory, and treatment visuals for Arlington National Cemetery.
